Educational qualification: 12th pass

Age limit: 18-23 years

Candidates should not have been born earlier than 05/03/1999 and later than 04/03/2004

Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST
3 years for OBC,
 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities
(15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt



 Tattoo:

 Following criteria has been fixed to determine permissibility of Tattoo:

Content: being a secular country, the religious sentiments of our countrymen are to be respected and thus tattoos depicting religious symbol or figures and the name, as followed in Indian Army, are to be permitted.




 

Location: Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm, but only left forearm, being non-saluting limb or dorsum of the hands are to be allowed. 


Size: Must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.


Constable/Fire - Pay Level-3 (Rs.21,700-69,100/-)



Exam levels 

1.Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates have to run 5 km in 24 minutes.

2.Physical Standards Test (PST)

  • Height – 170 cm
  • Chest – 80 to 85 cm (minimum expansion 5 cm)

3.Written Examination under OMR/Computer Based Test(CBT) Mode

  • Mode of Exam: OMR/ Computer Based Test (CBT) mode
  • Number/ Type of Questions: 100/ Multiple-choice type
  • Number of Sections/ Parts: Four

  • Duration of Exam: 120 minutes (2 hours)
  • Negative Marking: No negative markings for wrong answers
