NOTES IN DESCRIPTION

1.  தற்போது மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட ரயில் நிலையங்கள் மற்றும் எதிர்காலத்தில் மேம்படுத்தப்படவுள்ள ரயில் நிலையங்களில் ஏறுவோர், இறங்குவோருக்கு இந்தக் கூடுதல் கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்படும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்தக் கட்டணத்துக்கு ரயில்நிலைய மேம்பாட்டுக் கட்டணம் (Station Development Fee SDF ) எனப் பெயர் சூட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது

 

The Railway Board has approved the Station Development Fee (SDF)  for boarding trains from stations that have been redeveloped or will be redeveloped in the near future. 

 

2.  பாலியல் தொழிலாளிகளுக்கு குடியிருப்பு ஆவணங்கள் இன்றி ஆதார் எண் வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று  ஆதார் ஆணையத்துக்கு  சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட்டு  உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது.

 3. இலங்கையில் இந்தியாவின் உதவியுடன் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்ட, குளிரூட்டப்பட்ட சொகுசு ரெயில் சேவை திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. இந்த ரெயில்தடம், தமிழர்கள் அதிகம் வசிக்கும் யாழ்ப்பாணம் பகுதியை, தலைநகர் கொழும்புவுடன் இணைக்கிறது. இது 386 கி.மீ. தூர வழித்தடமாகும்

 Sri Lanka has launched a luxury train service connecting the country’s Tamil-dominated Jaffna district to the capital city Colombo with the help of a Line of Credit offered by India, in another significant landmark in bilateral ties.The intercity rail service with all facilities covering a distance of approximately 386 kms.
